I strongly believe in empowering my clients with knowledge they can actually use + strategies they can put into place for the rest of their lives. Knowing how to safely exercise + build sustainable habits and relationships with food are just the foundations of our time together. Knowledge is power and with some help from me, you’ll crush it year after year in the gym and in the kitchen. I believe that a good gym routine and healthy eating habits are our tickets to a long + healthy life.

Food is Fuel Nutrition
I’ve always loved a challenge. Whether it was training for a marathon, preparing for a triathlon, hiking, bouldering, or spending the last 12 years as an enthusiastic Crossfitter, movement has always been a huge part of my life. Over time, that passion naturally grew into an equally strong interest in nutrition and how fueling our bodies can transform how we feel and perform.
I’m a CrossFit Nutrition Certified Coach, and CrossFit Level 1 Certified Trainer (CFL1) and my philosophy is simple:
No fad diets. No quick fixes. No extremes.
I don’t believe in elimination diets or overly restrictive approaches — they’re not sustainable, and they don’t help you build the habits that truly last.My goal is to help you create healthy, realistic habits that work with your lifestyle, not against it. I’m a supporter of whole, minimally processed foods, but I also understand the realities of everyday life — sometimes convenience foods happen, and there’s absolutely a way to make that work.
I also know that everyone is unique. Your goals, your routines, your challenges — they’re yours, and your nutrition plan should be, too. Whether you’re looking to build muscle, lose fat, boost performance, or simply start feeling better both physically and mentally, I’m here to support you with a personalized, compassionate approach.
Who I Work With
I work with anyone who’s ready to make meaningful changes — busy parents trying to fit nutrition into a packed schedule, traveling professionals navigating meals on the go, and young athletes learning how to fuel themselves properly. If you’ve hit roadblocks, I’m here to help you break through them with clarity, accountability, and strategies that actually fit into real life.
Stephanie Midgley, MD
Founder
FACEP, FAEMUS, DipABLM
Stephanie is a triple boarded-certified physician. She received her MD degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and did her residency training in Emergency Medicine at Brown University. She has additional training in Precision Medicine and Health and Wellness Coaching, is board certified in Emergency Medicine, Point of Care Ultrasound, and Lifestyle Medicine, and is a certified Menopause Practitioner. She is the Director of Simulation for the Northwell Emergency Medicine Residency, Vassar Brothers Medical Center Clinical Ultrasound Division Director, Point of Care Ultrasound Fellowship Director, and adjunct faculty at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine; her career has embodied her life’s philosophy “teach and help others.”
As her career in medicine evolved and her passion for fitness and nutrition blossomed, she realized that western medical training puts band-aids on medical problems without any consideration for one’s lifestyle. There is zero emphasis nor education on the role of regular exercise, proper nutrition, sleep, and mindfulness on the maintenance of health and its role in treating/preventing chronic medical problems such as cancer, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, dementia, and strokes. We are entering an era where we are sicker than our grandparents, and the obvious reason is the standard American diet and its sedentary lifestyles. With an emphasis on convenient, highly processed food with high caloric density and limited nutritional value combined with decreased physical activity, we have become a nation of overweight, undernourished, and chronically ill.
Stephanie’s career now takes a new direction: beyond teaching medicine and treating others, she is the founder of Elemental Health. She seeks to help patients optimize their health, extend their healthspan and longevity, through nutrition, sleep, exercise, and stress reduction. Through a hybrid approach utilizing precision medicine with lifestyle modifications, she empowers patients to take control of their health.
When Stephanie is not working or running around with her kids, she can be found at the local CrossFit gym. Beyond that she enjoys snowboarding, scuba diving, swimming, local CrossFit competitions, softball, and lots of family time.
