I strongly believe in empowering my clients with knowledge they can actually use + strategies they can put into place for the rest of their lives. Knowing how to safely exercise + build sustainable habits and relationships with food are just the foundations of our time together. Knowledge is power and with some help from me, you’ll crush it year after year in the gym and in the kitchen. I believe that a good gym routine and healthy eating habits are our tickets to a long + healthy life.

Stephanie Midgley, MD
Founder
FACEP, FAEMUS, DipABLM
Stephanie is a board-certified physician. She received her MD degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and did her residency training in Emergency Medicine at Brown University. She has additional training in Precision Medicine and Health and Wellness Coaching, is board certified in Point of Care Ultrasound and Lifestyle Medicine, and is a certified Menopause Practitioner. She is the Director of Simulation for the Northwell Emergency Medicine Residency, the Vassar Brothers Medical Center Ultrasound Division Director, Point of Care Ultrasound Fellowship Director, and adjunct faculty at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and Marist University Physician Assistant Program; her career has embodied her life’s philosophy “teach and help others.”
As her career in medicine evolved and her passion for fitness and nutrition blossomed, she realized that western medical training puts band-aids on medical problems without any consideration for one’s lifestyle. There is zero emphasis nor education on the role of regular exercise, proper nutrition, sleep, and mindfulness on the maintenance of health and its role in treating/preventing chronic medical problems such as cancer, hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, coronary artery disease, dementia, and strokes. We are entering an era where we are sicker than our grandparents, and the obvious reason is the standard American diet and its sedentary lifestyles. With an emphasis on convenient, highly processed food with high caloric density and limited nutritional value combined with decreased physical activity, we have become a nation of overweight, undernourished, and chronically ill.
Stephanie’s career now takes a new direction: beyond teaching medicine and treating others, she is the founder of Elemental Health. She seeks to help patients optimize their health, extend their healthspan and longevity, through nutrition, sleep, exercise, and stress reduction. Through a hybrid approach utilizing precision medicine with lifestyle modifications, she empowers patients to take control of their health.
When Stephanie is not working or running around with her kids, she can be found at the local CrossFit gym. Beyond that she enjoys snowboarding, scuba diving, swimming, local CrossFit competitions, softball, and lots of family time.
